2023 OSFF Week

We have a packed agenda for the week of October 30th. From our first stateside Big Boost Mondays to various FINOS project meetings to our full day of sessions at our conference, there’s something for everyone! OSFF 2023 Week Events


Monday, October 30th: 

What: Big Boost Mondays

When: 5 pm - 9.30 pm

Where: Morgan Stanley, 522 5th Avenue, 3rd Floor, New York

Kicking off the week is our first “Big Boost Mondays” in New York City, hosted by FINOS member Morgan Stanley. "Big Boost Mondays" is a Tech & DEI meet-up, helping Women In Tech, non-graduate and under-represented groups find their pathway into technology. Joining us on the night is Peter Smulovics, Executive Director, Morgan Stanley, Rita Chaturvedi, Open Source Program Manager, Goldman Sachs, Maureen Doyle-Spare, General Manager, UST, James McLeod, Director of Community, FINOS. Wednesday, November 1st: 

What: Open Source in Finance Forum

When: from 8 am

Where: Marriott Marquis, Times Square, New York 

The day we’ve been waiting for! The Open Source in Finance Forum in the heart of NYC, featuring a lineup of industry experts and more. Here’s what you need to know: 

  • The Agenda: explore the full agenda here and get ready for a filled day of insightful talks.

  • Project Expo: Learn about FINOS projects first-hand at our Project Expo, focusing on demonstrating how FINOS projects and open source contributions are driving business solutions across our community. View the full list of projects that will be participating here.
  • Attendee Reception: After the conference, join us at 5.45 pm for the Attendee Reception for nibbles, refreshments and networking.
  • Meet the FINOS team: Our team will be at the conference for the full day, some presenting, others networking and some on the FINOS booth. Come say hi and grab yourself some free FINOS swag as well! We’re excited to meet you!

What: InnerSource Project Meeting

When: 11 am - 12.30 pm

The InnerSource Special Interest Group (SIG) leads are hosting a breakout session to discuss the SIG’s plans for 2024. The agenda will entail the following:

  • Review Drive Structure to ensure uniformity with OSR
  • Review Program plan structure uniformity with OSR
  • Review Program plan for InnerSource SIG
    • Goals
    • Mission
    • Importance
    • Recruitment
