Following a successful debut at the inaugural OSFF Toronto, FINOS is scaling the AI Governance Framework (AIGF) Training to global markets, including upcoming sessions at OSFF London and beyond.

As the AIGF emerges as the leading industry standard for safe and compliant AI adoption in financial services, we are seeking individuals working in financial services institutions (FSI) to participate in our training roadshow. These sessions provide a unique opportunity for FINOS members to validate our curriculum while gaining early access to the tools needed to operationalize the framework.

Targeted at technical teams, risk practitioners, and leadership, these courses provide the practical knowledge and tools to accelerate the adoption and effective operationalization of the framework.

This course begins by setting the context of why AI governance is critical now and then focuses on providing attendees with a deep understanding of how to integrate the FINOS AIGF principles, controls, and adoption paths into existing policies, operating models, and enterprise risk frameworks, enabling consistent, transparent, and compliant AI adoption across the organization.

You’ll explore how to align governance structures with emerging regulations and industry standards, and lead your organization in the journey of safe and responsible AI adoption.

Outcome: Earn a FINOS badge, demonstrating your ability to operationalize AI governance within FSIs.

AIGF PRACTITIONER (Design phase)

For Engineers, Architects & Technical Teams

Translate AI governance into action.

This hands-on course will teach you how to assess AI systems as well as implement appropriate controls via the AI Governance Framework throughout the AI/ML and agentic lifecycle.

Attendees will learn how to integrate governance checkpoints within AI delivery pipelines, align technical practices with assurance requirements, and maintain visibility and accountability for AI systems in production.

Outcome: Earn a recognized AIGF Practitioner credential, proving your ability to build and maintain compliant, trustworthy AI systems that align with both organizational policies and regulatory expectations.
