This month’s gathering will be a special one for our Open Source FinTech meetup as we’ll be celebrating a major announcement from the Symphony Software Foundation about its plans to further expand support of the many efforts and projects driving adoption of open source in the financial services industry.
Following the recent announcement of FINOS, Gabriele Columbro, Executive Director of the Foundation, will be interviewed by Spencer Mindlin of Aite Group about why now is the time for open source in financial services and why the industry needs a dedicated foundation to get open source done right.
In honor of the announcement we’re waiving our usual $10 meetup registration fee this month.
