What you will learn

In this masterclass you will learn: How to automate your trade reporting with DRR by integrating CDM within your organization. 

We often hear industry participants who are convinced by the benefits of ISDA’s DRR for trade reporting and willing to give it at go, but are put off by perceived implementation complexity: 

I would like to use CDM / DRR but find it hard to implement in my organization. 

If this sounds a lot like you, this masterclass is for you. 

The session will put you in charge of implementing DRR for trade reporting at a hypothetical organization called “Acme Bank” and will: 

• Present Rune’s “Translate 2.0” feature as the basis for your implementation Teach you how to leverage this feature using the Rosetta Platform 
• Demonstrate how this approach makes it easier and faster to build a CDM integration layer with your internal systems 
• Deploy DRR for trade reporting at Acme Bank by leveraging that CDM 
• integration 
• Show how you can maintain, test and verify that integration layer efficiently over time (e.g. when version changes) 
• Overall, this masterclass is designed to be practical and hands-on-keyboard as you will go through guided integration exercises 

Who is it for?

This session is for: 

• Operations, technology or business analysis professionals 
• Any type of market participant: sell-side, buy-side and market infrastructure firms, large or small, and their partners / consultants / advisors 
• With an interest in implementing CDM / DRR (even with a project already under way) 
• With prior knowledge of CDM and (ideally) DRR, and of model-driven 
• engineering or data modelling in general. You don’t need to be an expert, but you should be comfortable with key aspects such as the CDM’s product and event model and the regulatory logic in DRR. 
• Open to all the community - No need to be a FINOS or other trade association member 

What this session is not 

This session will not deliver training on CDM or DRR.
