[**This Week's Meetings**](https://www.finos.org/calendar) | [**Upcoming Events**](https://www.finos.org/news-and-events) |  [**State of Open Source in Financial Services Report**](https://www.finos.org/state-of-open-source-in-financial-services)  --- 🤖 **Agentic AI Foundation: The Standards for Fluxnova & Governance** The Linux Foundation’s launch of the **Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF)** and the contribution of Anthropic’s **Model Context Protocol (MCP)** and OpenAI’s **AGENTS.md,** signals a major shift in how agents will interoperate. For financial services, this aligns perfectly with our roadmap: **Fluxnova** serves as the critical orchestration engine to manage these agent workflows, while our **Open Source AI Governance** framework provides the necessary guardrails. Together, we are building a secure, standardized stack for the future of finance.  ➡️ [**Read the Announcement**](https://www.linuxfoundation.org/press/linux-foundation-announces-the-formation-of-the-agentic-ai-foundation) --- 🤖 **Building Better AI in Finance: Use Case Gathering** We’re kicking off a new FINOS community effort to co-create an open framework for evaluating AI systems in financial services. First step? Real-world use cases from you, to ensure that what we build reflects actual needs and pain points across the industry. ➡️ [**Share Your Use Case**](https://github.com/finos-labs/ai-evals-framework/issues/new?template=Use_case.yml) --- 📰 **Ambassador Blog: Open Source and the Future of Retail Banking** Dive into our newest ambassador blog from Dr. Gulzar Singh covering retail banking, the resilience of open source, and the importance of CDM (Common Domain Model) and FDC3. ➡️ [**Read More**](https://www.finos.org/blog/open-source-and-the-future-of-retail-banking-building-shared-infrastructure-for-trust)  --- 🏗️ **Live Demo: Morgan Stanley Builds a Trading System in 10 Minutes** At OSFF NY, Morgan Stanley’s Khal Elsawaf proved the power of "Architecture as Code" by building a complex trading system live in under 10 minutes, using natural language AI prompts instead of raw JSON. By leveraging the **Common Architecture Language Model (CALM)**, he demonstrated how to banish diagram drift and auto-generate documentation that stays in perfect sync with your actual build. ➡️ [**Watch the "CALM-aholic" Demo**](https://www.finos.org/blog/confessions-of-a-calm-aholic-how-morgan-stanley-automates-architecture-without-writing-json) ### [WEEK OF 15 DECEMBER - MEETINGS](https://calendar.finos.org/) Here's what's happening during this week in the FINOS community, [**visit the calendar here**](https://www.finos.org/calendar)for meeting links: **Monday, December 15** - 09:00 AM NYC / 02:00 PM UK - Labs - CyberThirdEye - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=Labs%20-%20CyberThirdEye&eventId=7p79mvg2ngpolu3q5uf4gpg3ah_20251215T140000Z) - 11:00 AM NYC / 04:00 PM UK - Git Proxy Project Meeting - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=Git%20Proxy%20Project%20Meeting&eventId=2ntg89eankk9ul2ashuop8psdm_20251215T160000Z) **Tuesday, December 16** - 10:00 AM NYC / 03:00 PM UK - Fluxnova Project Meeting - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=Fluxnova%20Project%20Meeting&eventId=4oil0gpucoeb5a8thb2k4h5t1r_20251216T150000Z) - 10:00 AM NYC / 03:00 PM UK - CDM Contribution Review Working Group - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=CDM%20Contribution%20Review%20Working%20Group&eventId=69q8mptjjadgu6mnstpt0nbncm_20251216T150000Z) **Wednesday, December 17** - 08:30 PM NYC / 01:30 AM UK - Open Financial LLM Leaderboard (OFLL) Working Session - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=Open%20Financial%20LLM%20Leaderboard%20(OFLL)%20Working%20Session&eventId=5lsndlg4j3su9hul4s70noeoi8_20251217T013000Z) - 05:30 AM NYC / 10:30 AM UK - Spring Bot Project Meeting - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=Spring%20Bot%20Project%20Meeting&eventId=q6j1eq0snfkt13jb7caapt8r2d_20251217T103000Z) - 09:00 AM NYC / 02:00 PM UK - Open Source Readiness SIG - Checkpoint Session - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=Open%20Source%20Readiness%20SIG%20-%20Checkpoint%20Session&eventId=3oeu8ev0okjen2i8v5hstg5abt_20251217T140000Z) - 10:00 AM NYC / 03:00 PM UK - CDM Tokenized Assets Working Group - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=CDM%20Tokenized%20Assets%20Working%20Group&eventId=ra1qoghbg8q9aj4ho3tlmkodna_20251217T150000Z) - 10:00 AM NYC / 03:00 PM UK - AI Governance Framework Working Session - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=AI%20Governance%20Framework%20Working%20Session&eventId=3ofjtrl4kk0anr4abh7lf3bkmn_20251217T150000Z) **Thursday, December 18** - 06:00 AM NYC / 11:00 AM UK - CCC- Working Group: Compliant Financial Infrastructure - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=CCC-%20Working%20Group%3A%20Compliant%20Financial%20Infrastructure&eventId=qqvgbfimr6227h66987b3dap5f_20251218T110000Z) - 10:00 AM NYC / 03:00 PM UK - FDC3 Standards Working Group - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=FDC3%20Standards%20Working%20Group&eventId=f7gi6dhef8srpkjl9l83stetv2_20251218T150000Z) - 10:00 AM NYC / 03:00 PM UK - AI Reference Architecture Library weekly working session - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=AI%20Reference%20Architecture%20Library%20weekly%20working%20session&eventId=1gruvountjqmjeudheik22n8u0_20251218T150000Z) - 10:30 AM NYC / 03:30 PM UK - Architecture as Code Office Hours - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=Architecture%20as%20Code%20Office%20Hours&eventId=31nngaucj5sprgcbdpj9spfe4j_20251218T153000Z) - 12:00 PM NYC / 05:00 PM UK - CCC - Working Group: Communications / All Hands - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=CCC%20-%20Working%20Group%3A%20Communications%20%2F%20All%20Hands&eventId=00r84f8c81jvdvh5mop0vjkohg_20251218T170000Z) - 01:00 PM NYC / 06:00 PM UK - Applied GenAI bi-weekly call - [Sign Up](https://calendar.finos.org/signup?title=Applied%20GenAI%20bi-weekly%20call&eventId=kanh94lc53abd2k42bokberhvl_20251218T180000Z) [**Visit the FINOS Calendar to stay informed of the most recent updates and calendar invitations.**](https://www.finos.org/calendar)   ### FINOS EVENTS   🌐 **Save the Dates: Open Source in Finance Forum** **Spring 2026 | Toronto** 🇨🇦 **June 25 | London** 🇬🇧 **November 4-5 | New York** 🗽 In 2026, our flagship event, Open Source in Finance Forum (OSFF), returns to London and New York and, for the first time, expands to Montreal.
