*From "Vibe Coding" to Executable Compliance: Validating Cloud-Native Infrastructure*

**Cloud infrastructure is becoming easier than ever to build—but how do you know you can trust what you've built?**

With AI and vibe coding, developers can go from a napkin sketch to a running Kubernetes environment in minutes. In financial services, deploying it is the easy part. The real challenge is verifying that your cluster meets strict regulatory, security, and governance standards before it handles production workloads.

Join lead architects **Yash Gandhi** (Morgan Stanley), **Maxime Coquerel** (RBC), and **Eddie Knight** (Revanite) for a hands-on exploration of Managed Kubernetes using the FINOS Common Cloud Controls (CCC). You'll build, configure, and test cloud infrastructure against security requirements built specifically for financial services—turning static policies into executable evidence and discovering what can (and cannot) genuinely be verified.

# Workshop Description

*This hands-on technical session bridges the gap between rapid cloud provisioning and strict financial governance. Participants will spend the afternoon testing their assumptions on real cloud-native infrastructure, finding out whether a "vibe-coded" cloud is truly ready for regulated finance.*

- **Facilitators:** Yash Gandhi (Morgan Stanley), Maxime Coquerel (RBC), Eddie Knight (Revanite)

# WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This workshop is designed for practitioners who build, secure, or audit cloud-native infrastructure in regulated environments:

- **Cloud & Platform Engineers:** Who need to define standardized, verifiable patterns for managed Kubernetes across public cloud providers.
- **Security & DevSecOps Leads:** Looking to replace spreadsheet compliance with automated, executable policy validation.
- **SREs & Kubernetes Administrators:** Responsible for maintaining cluster security postures under continuous delivery and high deployment velocity.
- **Risk & Audit Technical Leads:** Who need to understand how to collect machine-verifiable evidence from containerized environments.

# **What You Will Walk Away With:**

1. **Hands-On CCC Implementation:** Practical experience applying FINOS Common Cloud Controls directly to managed Kubernetes clusters.
2. **Executable Evidence Generation:** Strategies for converting compliance policies into automated, verifiable evidence rather than point-in-time audit artifacts.
3. **Verification Reality Check:** A practical framework for evaluating cloud configurations to determine what can be automatically validated versus what requires additional controls.
4. **Tested Architectural Patterns:** Insights and blueprints from major financial institutions (Morgan Stanley, RBC) operating Kubernetes at scale.

# **WORKSHOP PREREQUISITES & REQUIREMENTS:**

- **Laptop Required:** You will be configuring infrastructure, running tests, and executing code.
- **Technical Baseline:** Working familiarity with Kubernetes primitives, basic cloud concepts (AWS/Azure/GCP), and general container security practices.

# **Logistics & Application**

- **Date:** Tuesday, November 3, 2026
- **Time:** 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM EST
- **Location:** New York, NY (Venue details provided upon registration)
- **Cost:** Free for registered attendees (Standard Value: $1,000)

**Note:** Seating is strictly limited to ensure a collaborative, hands-on environment. Priority will be given to individuals from FINOS Member financial institutions and regulated industries.
