Calling all FinTech startups! Apply now to compete at Make It in Brooklyn’s FinTech pitch competition, to be held on March 28th. If you’re changing the way people pay each other, transfer assets, or invest, we want to hear from you.
The Make It in Brooklyn FinTech pitch contest will offer startups a chance to pitch their companies in front of a panel of venture capitalists and experts in the field of FinTech. Five startups will be chosen to give a two minute pitch followed by a Q&A with the selection panel.
Previous winners have gone on to significant success in the tech world. Since our Dec. 2016 pitch contest, winner Propel has gone on to raise $16.8 million dollars in its quest to make accessing public assistance programs like SNAP easier to use by phone.
Other past winners include Re-Nuble, a company making chemical-free fertilizer from food waste, and Bixby, an application that makes property management more efficient and less costly.

The contest will take place March 28th. Applications are open until 5pm EST on Friday March 1st, 2019.
